And, driving home at night, around Mile Marker 16 we start to observe the three Ho Ho Ho Houses on Sugarloaf Key next to the airstrip.

Amusingly, we looked at buying the house closest to US 1, in 2005, I think it was. It was a lovely house, great view but no boat access other than very shallow. The REA told us to wait for the next hurricane, then go out and rip up every mangrove we could get our hands on so that the view would remain unobstructed... I believe they were asking $850k at the time. In retrospect, I am glad we decided to wait!

While working the box office there the other day I watched an Asian couple (wife had on a chaddor)taking several shots of it with their very young kids posing standing under the dress. There has been a suggestion to add a webcam....
