They are good stories but for myself I enjoy living in the palatial Promaster (Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Jumper etc etc...) which I find easy to drive and park even though its not tiny. I admire youngsters who have never gone home but Layne and I have planned our departure with a lot more money and a fair bit of experience of traveling if not of off-roading or van living specifically. And we do plan to go further afield than North America after we scope out Alaska.
