It's that thing about finding the right place to relax and unwind. In this case I was looking out across the water thinking about how much I enjoy looking at the ocean these days rather than bobbing about on it.
To spend a couple of hours following my dog...
...looking out at the water...
...with the winds honking and the waves all ruffled up there is by contrast a certain serenity on the beach. Or, in the woods pausing to wait for the boss to catch up...
The Overseas Highway, inaudible with the wind at my back.
Looking for a late lunch...
And despite the battering of the waves there were boats buzzing around offshore.
The scout camp. My daughter went there and hated it! The bugs were so bad. And some of the kids from Miami as well.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir:
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful blog you have posted today! Your pictures capture the images you see and the mood you feel, with a vision that is as cloudless as the horizons that confront you.
I am typing this as I go from picture to picture, reading each caption as I go along. And, what's this!
You, sir, are despicable.
Fondest regards,

Twisted Roads
Roberta- Miami kids and mosquitos are indistinguishable to most people.
ReplyDeleteDear Jack, I'm really sorry. We did try to lift it but Cheyenne and I couldn't manage it. It's there when you get over your illness and can come and get it back.
Fabulous - I am going to post about a hidden Cape Coral Beach this evening in honor of this post. Thanks for the inspiration Mr. CS. :)
