Just a note if you’ve landed here by accident I’m taking a few days off at Andean Roads campground in Buenos Aires while I’m home alone with Rusty and Layne is in Brazil on a wildlife tour.
All is well and travel (and repairs) will resume before the end of the month.

Looks like I caught up with your blog just in time.How is the temporary repair of the battery cable holding? I always thought Victron was good stuff, that non-replaceable cable seems like a design flaw!

It’s a pain in the ass that cable. It’s glued into a $1600 (in Uruguay) battery.
