Not Key West

I saw these pictures on the Huffington Post. I thought about it for a while. I have no regrets about where I live. You lot keep the seasons, I'm fine season free.

I love giant snow storms! Months of cold suck, but blizzards are awesome.

Ah yes. I do too actually. But then when the week's vacation is over I'd like to fly back to the palms and sunshine.
I have a white Christmas fantasy of one year renting a cabin in February in Vermont and watching the snow come down.
Then flying rapidly home.

Dear Conchscooter,

When you have a need for watching snow come down, please come to Montana anytime during the months of October - May. It got down to 2 above last night with only a few inches of snow.

I see my 2 mile away neighbor John Mayer was on CBS Sunday Morning yesterday showing the very cold Yellowstone River and his 15 acres of paradise. You can check out his interview on YouTube or on CBS News. I'll bet his next cd will be filled with songs about the cold and snow. Although I've never met him, he seems to be a good neighbor and he raised lots of money for the local rural fire dept.

Trying to keep warm in Montana!
