Fine Art Museum St Petersburg:
Apparently the Grasset collection is in Spain and they sent over some masterpieces to St Petersburg for us to enjoy this summer. Good job.
As a bonus we also got to check out some street and folk art from the United States:
And then we got back to the main display areas.
This one I loved as it put me in mind of Georgia O'Keeffe from the same place and time yet this is a completely different style and I like realism:
Some World War Two art was on display, the sort of stuff that one doesn't associate with that war:
I really enjoyed the serenity of the Masterpiece Show.
Back outdoors and I turned a baobab tree into High Art. Clever me!
