“Lovely Arequipa, adored girlfriend.”
Don’t ask me why they call it the White City but I did find one white washed building.
Or two.
We walked into town leaving Rusty to nap as we figured out the lay of the land. We plan to be a few days in Arequipa and want to take our time enjoying the food and culture of this city.
Macaroons with lots of flavors, Pisco, blackberry, chocolate, mango, mint…
Hostal La Mercedes has rooms for rent if you’d like to stay here. Highly recommended.
A German Spribter with worn out brake pads and no spares. A larger Dutch newer RV in front of them. We met the couple in Quito but they do not communicate so there are no stories. The Germans are a bit stressed but we may find out more later when they are sorted out.
Our home for a few days.
A gratuitous Rusty shot while he checks his domain.
