Sunday Photos

Lagos del Rio, La Fortuna, Costa Rica. Day 6.

Plaster wall on a house under construction.

Rusty fears horses and would only walk by if the horse were grazing on the other side of the paddock. We were in luck yesterday.

Watching the rain together.

His favorite spot. The bathrooms are spotless.

Playing with my telephoto:

It rains every day. Our air conditioner keeps GANNET2’s interior dry and free of mold and damp which makes life bearable. That and plugging in to shorepower.

Every day Hosoyindio refills the pool and sweeps out the debris before refilling it for us to swim. Amazing.

Tomorrow we become tourists on the road. Tuesday we plan to start a coastal drive the length of Costa Rica’s Pacific Beaches. When Panama opens up, date as yet unknown, we’ll get Rusty’s exit papers in the capital, San Jose as it’s a damned paper trail through government offices, and then drive to Panama on the Caribbean coast. At least, that’s the idea: criss crossing Costa Rica before we leap the Darien Gap.
