I suppose after ten days hanging around at lovely Rancho Acosta and in the city we have some pictures.
I saw a post a few days ago from a van traveler visiting the Keys who loved staying at the newly rebuilt Sugarloaf Key KOA, the place near my home that got wrecked by Hurricane Irma in 2017. They loved the KOA complete with recreational areas and room for “an extra large pen” for their dog. The cost? $130 a day or $1000 a week and they felt lucky it didn’t cost more.
Rancho Acosta which we have largely to ourselves and supplies WiFi and a pool for entertainment and showers every other day costs us $15 a day. Rusty’s pen is breadth of the campground. From here we can drive into town in ten minutes and only that slowly thanks to narrow streets and topes (speed bumps).
