Continuing the tedious theme of overcast skies earlier this week I got a bit spectacular with the orange:
And kept the bilious shade photographing the runway at the Boca Chica Naval Air Station:
Rough waters but the pelicans kept busy diving for breakfast.
Brisk overcast and delightful: a morning at the beach.

Hey, by any chance were you riding a Vespa from Florida to California along I-10 sometime around 1982-83? Just had a guy at work tell me about a trip he took back then in a VW camper. Everytime he pulled over to to take a rest someone on a Vespa would go buzzing past him.
Probably. Possibly. Maybe. In my memory my P200 sailed along at 63mph all day.
