Tomorrow's essay is what happened when they sank the 522 foot 17,000 ton former satellite tracking ship that first saw service in 1944 as a troop carrier. I took a trip out to the reef to see it sunk in 140 feet (40 meters) of water. It was surprisingly affecting for me, if not the other people on my tour boat. I was supposed to be off tonight but some bugger called out sick so tomorrow I will be a zombie. Erk. Overtime is overrated.

I had to read up about it in the news stories. Had no idea of all the diving stuff planned for it. Interesting...
