Enough of that. We joined the parade when we had had enough and pushed the wife's Vespa to the nearest intersection to make our escape. Along the way my wife spotted Andy and Christina strolling along, she dressed as a fairy (I think) and he was pretty much naked I think, except that because I know him I felt awkward about taking a quick peek and asking if it was real so I kept eye contact, as one does with naked aquaintances, and chatted about boats, as one does and wished him a pleasant evening as we boarded the Vespa and buzzed back to the land of the fully clothed.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I saw a little of my daughters costume in one of your pictures. HaHa, you have to love it. At least people in Key West know how to have fun. Where I live they are a stick in the mud. They don't even allow kids to trick or treat on Halloween, it's always done the night before. I've enjoyed your coverage of the events.....even if what you post isn't showing much coverage.
That's the thing isnt it,how do you handle seeing some one you know parading around naked???? Whats the protocol??? I love my neighbors, that being said,I'd rather not see their bits and pieces...However i enjoyed seeing your neighbors in states of undress.

The local's parade is more fun than any of the organized events in my opinion because it is so unorganized, so casual, so easy going and all the worst aspects of nudity, alcohol and risque behavior which bring out the worst in people are completely absent. I recommend the event to anyone in town for Fantasy fest. Even if your daughter is out there doing things that might make a mother blush.
great blog, i found some fantasy fest photos here you might enjoy... here
