Lowe's Lane

I thought for some reason I had photographed this particular alley but checking the search function I found it was not so. I was in the neighborhood previously and photographed Hibiscus Lane so I figured why not put Lowe's in the photographic can because it's just as pretty. I enjoy road trips but I miss enjoying summer in Key West, land of hot sun, bright contrasts and white clouds. There's lots of shrubbery too, which I am unable to name. Labels have never seemed too important to me, so I tend to forget the differences between various birds and flowers and all those other things some people love to collect.. I enjoy the light and the colors and the shapes of Key West seen from on foot.
Summer too is the time of silence, relatively speaking and that is a bonus (added bonus if you want to be ungrammatical). If will power were enough I'm thinking this cat would have been indoors already.
Colors and clouds. If I lived a more interesting life there would either be a dead body or a naked body by the pool. Or preferably a dead naked body.
I cannot reconcile myself to the fact that there are people in Key West with the strength of character sufficient to drive a non air conditioned VW in this heat. Especially after it has been toasting in the sun like this. Perhaps the letter carrier has difficulty spotting numbers?
This is Key West, not Sedona, but cactus does do its best.
Lovely summery Key West.
The promise of rain is another summer pleasure.

Thanks for the tour! It was fun! Did you have a lot of excitement after we left? We were right in the spot where the kids were stuck in the elevator-- sirens were going all off all over town and I figured you were busy busy busy dispatching them to one thing or another! It was fun getting home!

Last night was the goat fuck first class with oak leaves. We were insanely busy from when you left until 5:45 am. The power outage was nuts. I have never seen so many stuck elevator calls -ever. Poor Kristi looked around almost in tears as she struggled to keep up on her first week dispatching fire/rescue by herself.Every single hotel with an elevator had people stuck in them. We had an officer down emergency which happily ended up okay after the rest of the shift extricated her from an angry mob and there were endless fights all over town that continued past my quitting time.Including some jackass wasting beer by filling balloons with it and tossing it in the street. If every night were like last night I'd quit and run for congress to get some peace and quiet. I am so jangled I can't sleep which will make tonight merry hell.
Thanks for asking.

Hey if you're still awake... which I hope you're not! Is it, or is it not, illegal to park scooters in the spots marked for motorcycles. We have a bugger of a time finding whole spots for the two of us!

scooters equal motorcycles. do not park scooters (or motorcycles) in bicycle racks.

Why did the Island lose power? Big storm or what? Wish you well with your next shift.

I thought that butthole was full of it when he told me that...

Hey, meant to ask if you could send me a copy of that picture you took of Maurice and I. We don't have too many of the two of us here. We're always taking pictures of each other! My email address is on my blog (and I thought I sent this already but it didn't post but perhaps I am losing my mind...)

You could also find Riepe by the pool. Wait, that would be the same as a naked, dead body, wouldn't it?

I don't even want to know what you meant by a goat fuck; it just seemed that should be in the same comment as a mention of Jack.
