The experts told us to expect an active hurricane season this year, but there again they always do that because they fundamentally have no clue where the storms might possibly go months in advance. In any case the so-called experts warn everyone to be prepared and some of us try to be well prepared. However when projections are actually cast showing a track that could very easily lead right over your house you do tend to sit up a bit more and take notice. The good part is that the storm should crumble over Haiti's landmass, which is cold comfort to that benighted island, but that dissipation of energy means the storm will likely bring the Keys nothing much more than wind and rain.
