I had nothing better to do, a cripple in his chair so I watched and envied him his easy smooth strokes

Up here, there was a guy who would row over six miles every other day in a contraflow commute

No is the short answer. I might miss it if I weren't working but we've talked about going back to boats in retirement but I think for us it would be too all absorbing and thus isolating from other aspects of our lives.
