I found myself photographing flowers Rusty and I walked around town. Why? Why not ? I act on a whim sometimes.
Rusty took the wrong way round a potted plant but it was all good natured.
Red seagrape leaf on red car:
No idea what any of these plants are called.
A plastic flamingo isn't strictly speaking a plant but I figured it could fit in here well enough.
Have a properly spring-like weekend!

Lignum vitae is the plant you didn't know.
Sometimes called ironwood in the Caribbean because it is a very hard wood.
My very favorite native plant!
Oops , sorry . The lignum vitae is the purple flower with the small round leaves and is also the plant pictures with yellow seed pod with red seeds .
The others are non native.
um okay. I am terrible at knowing the names of things I don't need to know.
i have been studying the pictures and I have high hopes I may finally be able to identify lignum vitae in the wild thanks to you.
