Mangrove Walk

An escape to the country, a  walk a few pictures a time to reflect and the prospect of another busy week ahead, as my weeks start on the weekend,

A few found objects in the woods and alongside the road.

A sewer line cover in lovely turquoise, a banal object creating a splash of color
A  glue mark left behind after a road reflector was removed. The black spot (a reference to Treasure Island):

Discolored tree trunk.
He had fun wandering alongside me. We enjoy our time together. I hope the pictures,  as  simple as they are, made the day easier for you.

I read T.I. when I was 12 or 13; at sixty something I read it again. You would think with a refresher 50 years later I would have had an inkling about Chapter 3: The Black Spot! How do you retain all this stuff Michael?! Well done.

I have cultural deficits that yawn like chasms compared to what most people know and take for granted.

Trivia, do you know why man hole covers are round?

So they can't fall in the holes (they have beveled edges). Ot at least that’s the urban myth version.

Somehow I knew that it would either be Michael or Anonymous to come up with the right answer. Way to go Anon!
