Cold

I didn’t feel well yesterday, achy and slow, not a fever but I slept until lunch. The afternoon was sunny briefly until a thunderstorm came rolling up the valley into Quito bringing heavy cold rain. Rusty hated the thunder and we sat aboard GANNET2 chatting with Jonas from Belgium educating him about the US, a place he thinks is the source of all evil in the world.

Jonas is sitting in our chair while Andy the Canadian campground owner is standing tall in Bart Simpson pajamas. It takes all sorts.
That was our day and if I’m better we’ll be off to see new places. Our travel plans have been mucked up a bit by rain fog and mist. We’ll see what we can find as we go south toward Cuenca.

I hope we’ll get some interesting roads. Layne spotted some interesting streets in Quito.
